The Field House was established in 2004 in an effort to fill a void in the Vermont community that had been consistently identified in state and regional plans for decades. TFH has responded to the need for recreation and athletic facilities by providing outdoor recreational space, indoor athletic fields and a community center.

Each tenant is working together with the next to make for the best possible environment and community within The Field House Athletic Campus.
TFH is the state of the art sports facility in New England against which all others will be measured. In addition to the tenants already described above, our campus and concrete walls include two 210’L x 105’W indoor multi-purpose fields, and three regulation size outdoor multi-purpose fields. The indoor fields are side by side with a ground-level viewing area at one end and a raised viewing area at the other. The field surfaces consist of the latest technology in sport turf, OMNI GRASS provided by Sportexe.
At TFH, we will be running leagues, tournaments, clinics, and camps in Soccer, Lacrosse, Field Hockey, Flag Football, Ultimate Frisbee, Baseball, Golf as well as many other athletic activities. Shelburne has become a hub for senior and retirement communities. We have already scheduled daytime indoor and outdoor activities for our older friends in our community.
